An Open-Sourced Approach:
Authenticity is key. When someone else tells your story, it becomes a difficult quality to retain. After I started a dialogue with the university students sponsored by Global Children Cambodia, I realized how impactful it was to hear their stories firsthand.
Rather than creating the content, I stepped back as a curator and conduit. Together we created a system in which each student would showcase a week in his or her life. Having recently completed a photography class together, they were keen to show of their new skills, wanting to highlight their hobbies, friendships, culture and most importantly, studies made possible by GCC.
